Police in Ridgefield are hopeful of the public’s assistance as they attempt to reunite a missing dog with her family.
The Ridgefield Police Department issued an alert on Thursday after a spayed female hound mix was found roaming in the area on Wednesday afternoon. The dog has no chip and was sporting a green collar when he was picked up.
Anyone who may recognize the canine, or knows of its owners have been asked to contact Animal Control by calling (203) 431-2711.
